OME OLUIKPE, MS, RPH, FACA
Founder
Experienced pharmacist and entrepreneur with a successful background in business start-ups as well as strategic planning. Self-motivated and diligent pharmacy management professional, action-oriented and accountable. Seeking to fill a void in the Rochester, New York, market area by establishing a compounding facility that will fulfill the unmet needs of patients while exceeding all regulatory standards.
Ome has over 20 years of pharmacy practice experience. He relocated from downstate New York to the Rochester area in 2002 to manage a retail pharmacy for a large national retail company. Ome has since set his roots in the community moving on to found an independent community pharmacy that served Rochester for over thirteen years under his leadership and which is still in operation after a change of ownership in 2018.
Ome’s love for pharmacy compounding began as a Pharmacy Intern at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Bronx (downstate NY) where he was trained to prepare simple intravenous admixtures in an aseptic laboratory. In 2005, as an Independent Pharmacist, Ome was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Apothecaries, completed training in compounding, and began providing compounded prescriptions at his community pharmacy.
Through Membership with Professional Compounding Centers of America, Ome completed specialized training in Aseptic Technique Compounding. Ome’s vision is born out of the desire to provide personal care to patients who need care that goes beyond traditional products dispensed in retail pharmacies. His firm belief is that by working hand in hand with medical providers, a pharmacist is best able to serve the needs of patients. Ome intends to leverage the positive relationships he has built over several years with local medical providers, to build a pharmacy practice that is patient-centered and innovative.
